Southern Alps, around the mountains trail

4th day of riding. 60kms today. Looks fairly easy here, but believe me it got much steeper. Pleased to report I managed to stay on the bike even for the 3km steep incline. Only 2 out o the 8 of us managed

@maggiemae we started at Lawrence and did the Clutha Gorge gold trail, then the Roxburgh Gorge trail, then went on to do the round the mountains Cycle Trail. Will finish in Kingston tomorrow night. Our timing was perfect to miss the flooding at home
