Unfortunately the weather was pretty horrible as we went over the Desert Road, but these pylons still made quite a dramatic effect through the rain. Drive by, as my husband was focussed on getting to Wellington.
They are interesting. Driving in the Mojave this past spring, I was struck by the deserts beauty but was hard pressed to get photos without power lines. The pylons themselves. (Like some spots we found with the giant wind turbine) have much more interest. Enjoy your weather!
