Hippo in the room

Trying high key, not quite got it. Getting late and not the best subject and the internet is extremely slow, taking an age.

I've done very little high key and i'm not able to judge how well it works here, but I like the way the curving lines on the hippo and on the lower shelf of the table--they seem to reinforce each other.

Very cool and creative, Jo! While layering in color on the elephant or the patter in the back might have given the viewer a sharp contrast to make, keeping it all white gives the picture an edgy, but still soft, texture. Nice piece of artwork!
