As some of you may have seen in the Theme Winners of 2011 post, Martha Wright was our winner from the Family theme, with her photo below, well done Martha!
I'm now happy to say that Martha has chosen the theme of "Yellow" for us this week, a nice open theme everyone on the site can get involved with. We have in fact had Yellow as a theme before, a long time ago, so it will be nice to see a fresh take on the idea from some of the newer members of the site.
People who follow me know that I LOVE the colour and I have chosen YELLOW because it is such a bright and happy colour, enough to cheer up even the greyest of winter days. Also I was thinking how the theme might reflect me and my now completed 365 and I think this shot from my first week was one of my favourite ever, and the response I got so early on in the project made me realise how amazing the 365 community is http://365project.org/wrighty/365/2011-01-07.
How to enter
If you wish to enter the theme this week, please tag your photo (on the edit/organise screen) with the tag theme-yellow2, the 2 is important, otherwise the last time we had the theme will get mixed up with this time. :-)
Entry Guidelines
Entry to this theme starts on Monday 9th January and will accept entries until Sunday night (23:59 GMT 15th January). 5 finalists will be chosen next week and we'll start voting on Wednesday. Entries must have been taken and uploaded this week only! Entries outside of the date range will not be accepted in to the final 5.

''As American men and women continue to lay down their lives every day in the war in Iraq, yellow ribbons can be seen popping up like spring posies in towns and cities all across the United States, a phenomenon many will recall from the Gulf War of 1991, when similar decorations adorned tree trunks, front doors and lapel pins until the troops came home from the battlefield.
At its broadest, the gesture signifies homefront support for American military personnel and the war effort in general; at its most personal, it signifies the hope that a loved one participating in the distant conflict will return safe and sound. In any case, "tying a yellow ribbon" has become such a ubiquitous and familiar symbolic act that many people assume its origins to be quite old, though folklorists say the history of the practice as we know it stretches back little more than 20 years.''
here is my flickr where you can see that it was taken this week and on today.
