The end of the second week of 30 Days Wild for me so I had several photos I liked but I've picked this one because it's the most colourful.
It was hard to choose, but in the end, I chose this one. I just like the way the light is shining through her ears and also that you can see how much she's enjoying the sun without even seeing her face.
A week of very little time for photography while at company meetings, so I was very happy when I spotted these shadows walking back to my room late afternoon. The light here is so harsh, but it worked well in these shadows, I thought.
Has to be this one for me...

Standoff at the traffic lights this morning! I added to the confusion because I was at the red light, saw this and leaned out of the window to take a pic. Obviously, the light changed to green whilst I was doing this and people started hooting. The cow was undaunted.
I decided this was a 'decisive moment' (event though there is no movement) and deserved to be posted as another attempt for the HCB artist challenge. It was certainly a decisive moment for me!
It was very wet yesterday and I found this little moth, which I had seen previously in the garden, sheltering under a leaf. I liked the colours and the raindrops.
I don't often really love my own photos but the more I look at this one the more I love it. I got quite a few that I really liked during this photo session with a cyclamen.
This one, partially because it was on the Popular Page for however brief a time and that is a rare thrill for me. I also liked the way the resulting composition looked, despite the fact that the two photos that went into it were rubbish SOOC and by themselves.
As a total newbie with LOTS to learn I appreciate this thread as just one more way to reflect on my photos...This image helped me understand the concept of process over product. We're all different, and how we figure out the best shot varies from photographer to photographer. I am learning that my task is not to try to replicate another's image, but rather work through my own challenges to arrive at an image that best reflects my own values, experiences, preferences, and style.
I liked the bright display of Californian poppies here, and the historic building in the background.
Aldeburgh, Suffolk; eschscholzia and ancient Moot Hall
From my daughters' dance recital this weekend:
The color balance was a bit off because of the stage lighting, so I tried converting it to black & white and really love how that made the dancers pop! My oldest is the in the very middle back. :)
I love doing these water shots.............apart from the photography results, it's the laughing with friends till breathing becomes a trifle difficult!
Sadly little time for photography at the moment.
First time since I was a kid (using my parents' film camera) that I've taken lightning photos - pleased with my results!

New turf needs a lot of watering, but liked the feel of summer the sprinkler gives
This one of my boys off to feed the cows
I had been looking for a columbine flower ( Colorado's state flower) and found it unexpectedly one day. I was very pleased and proud lol
