Another week has flown by. It is time to jump into our time machines and see what we can dig up from the past. Happy hunting!
This is an easy fun challenge open to everyone. Once you have taken 30 or more photos the flashback link will appear in the box below "View this month" under "Photo Details". Hopefully as we go back in time we will see that our photography skills have improved and maybe even have a laugh or two at what we once thought were good enough to post.
Click the Flashback View link and it will take you to one of your past photos.
This is a fun and random way to share some of our older work... try not to cheat, and use the first image it gives you, even if you aren't too fond of it!
To share: Underneath your photo is a curved arrow to the right (➦). Click on the arrow and there will be an "Embed Code" you can copy. Copy that then paste in the comment box below.
I haven't been doing this very long and I already notice I tend to fall back on food photos a bit too much when I don't have another idea, but mmmm that chili was good
Back to June when I won a Tag-Challenge (the first ever competition I entered ) and as a result I 'met' Vikki @summerfield who mentored me through hosting the next one and ever since has been very supportive.
Thank you Skip for hosting this weekly thread, I really enjoy looking at other peoples' flash-backs!
March 2014, our club had gathered for a group photo (as many as could be there) leading up to our 100 year anniversary. The actual portrait was taken by the husband of one of the members. When he finished I asked for an RSVP count to add to my spreadsheet and figured I could just get it with a quick snap. They were to hold up as many fingers as were coming (just themselves, with spouse, etc) Some were starting to leave, and others didn't quite understand the number of fingers deal. I likes this better than the realportrait we used for the event. It has a personality that makes me smile, one you don't necessarily get when everyone is paying attention and smiling.
From quite a way back, in my first year here. I have since learned that "the large bird with the sharp beak" is actually a common grackle, one of many things I've learned while participating in this group.
