When you take a bunch of talented & creative people and push them out of their comfort zones, the resulting 171 photographs are honestly wonderful, each with a unique back-story. Selecting the finalist would be far less stressful if Jase would allow me to identify (many) more than five entries for the voting!!
Thankyou whip-cracking challenge master Jase @38mm for the time you contribute to the challenge.
To vote, just place the number of the photo you are voting for in your reply. The photographer selected to choose the finalists for Get-Pushed week 6 will be announced on Sunday.
So here, after much deliberation, are the five finalists in the order I found them on the tag page (http://365project.org/tags/get-pushed-5 ).
1. alphabet photography that spells out a word... not using any letters - only objects that look like letters (@northy )
wow, holy shit sauce, this is the best top five I've seen on a challenge on here for ages. usually picking the least dreadful but these are all superb.
As much as I love all of them I gotta say
I agree with the above comments that these top five are through the roof good and it is very difficult, pretty much impossible, to choose a favorite amongst them. But, I'm going to go with 2 because I admittedly favor photos with humans in them and his expression, the tones, the depth of field, everything about it works for me. But, again, all inspiring in their own ways.
And can I add that I think it's so cool that these top quality photos are coming from a "get pushed" challenge where photographers are presumably outside their day-to-day comfort zone/preferences? Awesome. :)
Number 1 for me, but honourable mentions to all
As much as I love all of them I gotta say

But since there can be only one...

My vote without a doubt has to go to northy, fabulous work.
