Hobby

Saskia wrote-Coming up with a get pushed theme is almost (but not quite) as hard as meeting the challenge! I give you "tools of the trade".

These are the tools of my hobby-knitting. The pattern written in a shorthand code, needles (one a double ended as I'm starting an Aran cable sweater) row counter, clips for blocking when sewing up and the elephant is a stitch marker charm.

The wool is a beautiful delicate colour. The pattern fills me with horror! (Can't knit for toffee).

@saskiah here we go, how's this one for you (and I said I wouldn't be doing on white until August!!)
@quietpurplehaze it's filling me with horror too Hazel. I couldn't resist this mauve wool, from fleeces of the sheep at the farm we stayed in in Dorset!!

Really like your composition and what a lovely colour to have as a sweater. I have tried three times to knit.....!!

@megpicatilly thank you, can't tell you how many times I changed the layout so it wasn't cluttered

I'm feeling quite clever here for once - I understand that shorthand code!

Wonderfully presented, though the instructions look like a foreign language to me!

I used to do lots of knitting and loved it, but then the kids got too old to wear home knits.

Made me want to have another try!

@pixiemac I've undone it twice already, but spent so much on the wool that I must persist!!
