What Are They?

Apparently used to keep undrunk wine fresh. Nope, doesn't compute to me either, and as you can see from the dust on them I had to hunt them down for the latest mundane object challenge!!
I have some of those.

I used to have some of these. There was also a sort of pump thing to make sure the bottle was kept airtight. It's much less effort just to drink it all quickly

I have some of these in the cupboard - use different ones now - on the rare occasion there is wine left hahahaha

@brennieb @annied @dawnee @carole_sandford @suesouthwood @joansmor Delia Smithsays you can also freeze unused wine in bags and trays for cooking. I prefer mine in a glass when cooking

Yes, I've used these. You need a manual suction device to suck the air out of the top through the slit - which closes once the air comes out. Handy if you have a bottle of red wine and you only drink a glass every so often!
