.........................my sewing box is a nit comb!!!!!!
I do not sew, it's quicker for Him to nip to M&S to purchase a new shirt than wait for me to sew on a button. I don't do hems, I iron on that double sided stuff that lasts a nano-second or three.
I have no idea why there's a nit comb in my little wicker case, and guess what? It's stayed there too!!

I don't sew either. Good job David learned how to sew buttons on when he first joined the RAF. It was one of the first things they taught him in the apprentices along with ironing his uniform.
I wondered about the nit comb too. Believe it or not, I still have a nit comb in my sewing box and my daughter is 45.
Half your luck, my adult son still brings his clothes to me to be repaired. I'm sure that I had a hunt around I'd probable find a nit comb too (Old occupational hazard). :)
