@ludwigsdiana No never!! We cheat by putting in random letters if they don't affect other words and use Google - a lot!! But before we cheat we are usually able to a bit more than half!! NEVER any cryptic clued though- just don't get those!!

We used to get the newspapers a day late out in Cyprus. So, the answers for, say Monday’s crossword, were visible online at www.telegraph.com on the Tuesday, when we actually got Monday’s paper. Our Sqn Ldr had great fun beating the Civil Servant everyday in completing the crossword first. (He did tell him after a month or so) 😜

Great DoF- this challenge makes me think before I take the shot. I usually am lazy and just shoot but on manual settings and fall into editland.
