Went into town and passed people caring for a person who'd tripped. Popped into supermarket later, shopped and walked on by past a manager caring for a frail, and bleeding, old lady- the one who'd tripped. I went on to my car but on an unthinking whim turned around on my heel, walked back up the stairs, tapped him on the shoulder and offered to take her home or to her GP.
His relief was palpable, as was her reticence. I walked her to the car, gently got her in, manhandled her shopping trolley into the boot and set phone to maps. She allowed me to walk her to door of her building and, very sensibly, not up to her first floor flat door, I mean I could have been an axe murderer.
well, you're not an axe murderer. but you should've shot her a frame or two, why didn't you? is there still a mundane sweets going on? aces on the dof, my lady. aces!
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Thanks Jackie, my biggest aperture is 2.8 and having a bridge camera, no idea about the size of the lens. Maybe I am just too stupid ;-)
@ludwigsdiana hmmmmm I have a bridge camera too and it's not easy. Give this a try? Set to manual/ apperture priotity , widest apperture possible, no zoom at all. Move camera ( not lens) to focus on subject in foreground and have light shining on/from objects in background. Dappled light from leaves is good to start on. Enjoy.
@ludwigsdiana big aperture, little lens
