Britain is battenning down the hatches as Storm Ciara is blowing herself in. We have an orange alert, my photography meet-up in Oxford has been cancelled, trains running slow (but what's new?) and as I type the sky is clear, the super-moon is super bright and there's a bit of a breeze.
Ciara arrived in Edinburgh at around 4pm. Ruined the Scotland England match. Rest of us will get it through the evening and into tomorrow. Hopefully will have calmed down when I head SW for the week.
Glad you are staying hunkered down thru the storm...and really like the light/dark contrast here. Also that "peek-a-boo" tree behind the white one. It adds such depth both figuratively and literally.
I know the feeling about Storm Ciara it has got very blustery here now with heavy rain. I love the contrast between the white tree in the foreground and the black one in the background.
