My challenge was to make a picture related to "Too much or Too Little" and this is my offering. Read on for the tale....
My apple chilli jelly didn't set, so I sought advice from my Thursday Pigs friends, who assured me it was rescuable. I reboiled the 11 jars I'd made, and reduced it to eight, and it's well and truly setting now!!
I think I've got too much chilli in there, Sue will think too little!!
We don't just play Pigs on Thursdays, today we talked culture, gardening, rescuing my jelly and the Brits thrashed the US!!
Apple chilli jelly sounds interesting. I recently had to reboil some grapefruit marmalade that hadn't set properly. Worst part is re-washing and sterilizing the bottles
Looks pretty Jackie. Glad it turned out. I hope that you like it. I know I wouldn't. I don't like that hot stuff. @summerfield I for one think their pigs are weighted. I may buy a Pass the Pigs game and see if those pigs score more points. @mcsiegle The Brits, especially Sue, always rack up the points. I need to go back and check and see if the USA has one any games lately.
@kjarn and we giggle too @monikozi I use it as a relish with cold meats or cheese @shutterbug49 thank you @randystreat it will be gifted to others @mcsiegle thanks Mary, a challenge that got brain going!
One I may use in the future as a challenger! @bkbinthecity with help from friends @summerfield we don't always win @wendyfrost many thanks Wendy @pyrrhula it dies have a savoury note as there's bay and rosemary too @potsbypam maybe too much now!? @wakelys a jar with your name on it
