Walking Home

I was challenged to do a low-key shot but to focus on the highlights. This looked good through the viewfinder.

Played around with ISO, aperture and angles. Best angle was from a gate post (no tripod whats-it thingy with me!) and when this chap walked into shot he just made it.

This picture reminds me of a 1930s movie! I like the use of the dark areas, they're always mysterious!! :D

@maggiemae I rarely have tripod with me so make use of whatever
@miseria it wasn't that dark really, camera settings did this effect.

You absolutely nailed your challenge here, Jackie! It has that mysterious look to it with the dark places but the light is so warm and inviting.

@jnorthington balanced it on a gate post! Rarely take tripod out with me!!
