park tree

Youngest left this morning. We drove through fog and mist in subzero temperatures, but thankfully the plane took off and she headed toward warmer places. Once again the trees were heavily frosted, so I stopped briefly on my way home to try and capture their magic in the park lights. This is very unfamiliar photographic territory for me, and it was too cold to linger with practice shots. It is what it is. As usual .. better on black if so inclined.
The blues and long shadows are fab.

Great choice to put the light right behind the trunk so it did the great backlighting but no blow out
