Today's walk took me to Broad Street and the music store formerly owned by the Boykin family. (hence the B in the middle of the mural.) This used to be THE place to go to rent an instrument if you were a student just getting started in music or buy the instrument of your dreams if you were well on the way to a life of music. Now it's part of a chain of stores called Music and Arts Center that works primarily with school bands and orchestras.
Great mural- and great picture of it! There's something very cheery about what the murals depict and where they're located in Richmond- they have a very positive feel to them. Nice shot.
