I met a friend at Virginia Museum of History and Culture for a noontime program about George and Martha Washington and their extended family. Not coincidentally, it was held on Washington’s Birthday. We always top off our VMHC programs by walking over to the cafe at VMFA which has the best homemade soups. Meanwhile we enjoyed the cheery construction vehicles outside the museum and the graceful floral arrangement inside.
