Had a super girls night with Meg (my photo partner in crime who used to 365) and her neighbor. We did a tour of historic churches in downtown Cincinnati in Over the Rhine (OTR). It has the most national landmark historic buildings in any area of our country. It was pretty awesome to see the church where the holiday hanukkah gained popularity and even see what the churches are doing today in their communities. The pastors we met were easy on the eyes, too. Since it was a girls night, we had a good giggle over this afterwards. So much fun!!!
This was taken in the former St. Paul's church which has been converted into a brewery called Taft's Ale House (ironic because St. Paul's was a no drinking congregation). Super cool place and beautifully renovated with over 9 million dollars worth of renovations...the ceiling had collapsed on the church from neglect and water damage. We had a beer there and I must go back for a date night.
Lovely sparkles and golden tones... really pretty shot, especially on black. I am laughing about the pastors being "easy on the eyes." ;) Glad you had a great time... looks very glam.
Oooh, like this.....at first, I thought maybe you were in NYC as this looked a bit like Lincoln Center, but I knew that with the kids' school and all you would not be traveling. Wonderful shot!
