Slag glass lamp by amyk

Slag glass lamp

For the mundane “lampshade” challenge. Slag glass (opaque pressed streaked glass) was popular in the early 1900’s. Belonged to my grandparents, and my dad did his homework by this light.
What a treasure for you to have

Nice focus on the lamp and just enough blur on the books.

Beautiful lampshade- I love this style of glass. And to think that slag glass was really the "reject" or leftover glass from the good stuff! When you look at how beautiful a lot of the pieces made from it are, you'd never guess that. I like your crop here too. Well done for the challenge!
