*unidentified flower object
Thought this was a fake flower at first. No idea if it is some sort of aberration or what? There were two blooms on the plant, both looking like this. No ID tag. Seen at DeTour Village Botanical garden.

How intriguing! A cross breed? A virus? Or just unusual? Maybe email the Botanical Gardens to ask them. I'd be interested in the answer, it is a beauty
@30pics4jackiesdiamond@casablanca@shutterbug49 thanks for the “dahlia” tip and after much googling, I have found the ID. This is Twynings Smartie Dahlia. Petals can be pink, white or a combination of both colors on one petal.
