A bright start to the day . . .

Melbourne tram early morning. Melbourne trams are often quite empty at the moment. One of the many consequences of the last two years, is the reduction in public transport usage and a return to preferences for travelling by car with all the unwanted effects.

I liked the lines of all the handrails. With the tram relatively empty there was a much better view of them.

There's a lady kneeling in the background. I'm sure others can come up with all sorts of stories about what she might be doing???
The yellow real does pop on a black background.

The colours really stand out when the trams are empty of people.
Melburnians are renowned for wearing black so colour is needed for the morning commute. More about Melbourne black here: https://www.timeout.com/melbourne/shopping/do-melburnians-really-wear-a-lot-of-black-we-asked-an-expert

Nice colorful tram. I am not surprised that during the epidemic, people quit using public transport.
