@theredcamera. Do you live in Sequim?!
This is the kind of watercolor painting, I aspire to. I have to agree with. @30pics4jackiesdiamond about your skill
@theredcamera Ellen, I have a verified solution to getting back into the groove of sketching: using a new quality sketchbook. The joy of using good materials is proven to increase the joy in the process itself.
@delboy207 Thank you! @30pics4jackiesdiamond This was my second attempt at drawing this, and I used pencil first with much erasing!! @grammyn Thank you, yes, I live in Sequim, WA. do you know it? @salza Thank you! @monikozi Such good advice! I do need to delve into those new books I bought for the purpose! thanks for the positive comments, I'm not quite ready for "on location sketching" yet, but working up to it. This was from a phone photo. @wakelys Thank you very much Susan. @kjarn I appreciate your nice feedback!
@theredcamera not really but I lived in Tacoma for 18 years and grew up in Washington. I know it well enough to know it is pronounced "Squim" and not "Seequim" LOL
@grammyn Very cool! The proof of a Native: pronouncing all these Native American place names correctly. You know I live in a fabulous place. Our first house purchase after we got married was in Old Town Tacoma. A cute little older house with peak-a-boo views of Commencement Bay. Where do live now, if you don't mind me asking.
@theredcamera Your firstr home sounds lovely and I am sure your current one it as well. When we were first married we lived a block from Tacoma General and later moved near Wapato Park. Now I live in Alabama which is so far from all of that in more ways than one!
