It was raining, and my only water resistant camera and lens combination is my magnificent Leica SL. The lens, even at 90mm is not suited to birding, but the hummingbirds will soon be gone and I always want to photograph them. Rain jacket on and camera in hand, I gave it a go. The chap was captured as a tiny image with a patio chair behind. It wasn't suitable as is, but the diamond shaped openings in the background suddenly looked so like windows in lovely dark chapels. So, off to photoshop we went and I think he and his abstracted feathers would make a magnificent leaded window.
