A week of very hot , sunny weather and I felt wilted and my hair getting on my nerves . This morning we had a heavy downpour of a thunderstorm. I didn't last long till the sun put his hat on, to give us another hot and clammy day.
While chatting on the phone with my friend Pat this morning I discovered that only hairdressers salon were opening next week,and no date given to home/mobile hairdressers - So armed with a pair of hairdressers scissors and a comb I went to the bathroom to cut my hair ! I always used to cut my own hair but not too easy now with the arthritis ,I can not lift both hands up to my head at the same time ! but I managed , it looks and feels so much better -- I feel quite light-headed !!
BUT I still hate selfies !! -- and I am NOT balancing the little shelf unit on my head !!
Well you’ve made an excellent job of cutting your hair Beryl! No need for a hairdresser again!! I can just imagine how frustrated you must be...I never thought about mobile hairdressers being different than salons. This is a lovely selfie & you would be much cooler!
You did a beautiful job!! I have not had anyone else cut my hair in 20 years and before that one time it was probably another 10 or so years before that. "The difference between a good haircut and a bad haircut is two weeks!"
Looks like you have done a great job. Hopefully it will tied you over till your hairdresser is back on the job.. I thought you were very clever to balance the shelf.. lol.. 💇♀️
I know the feeling Beryl. My hair is so long !! Had a terrible night , only slept until 3 am, then couldn't go off again. No rain here, but hotter than ever. Shall have to go to bed early tonight .
A nice haircut, Beryl. I like it. Since covid-19 I have cut my hair myself. this time I was too frustrated and I made a strait cut of the bangs and now I try to hide them. oh well, the'll grow again.
Well done with the hair cut, and your funny comment about the shelf unit. I suppose you realised someone would say it if you didn't, he said innocently!
This is so good - one of my professions was a hair dresser and I know how to cut. But I just can't do the back of my head satisfactorily at all. Its just a stab in the dark with the scissors!
