Still in chaos , with opened boxes of Christmas decorations littering the floor , while I am being decisive of what not to put out to decorate this year . Looking up on the wall , I spotted my watercolour of a scene in Snowdonia , painted some years ago . i think this is the favourite of my landscapes .Painted from a postcard scene but converted from a summer scene to a winter scene . to suffice the brief given in the Art classes I used to attend and enjoy !
Sometimes I wish I could paint again but the arthritis in my hands - makes it difficult and painful and I would not be happy with what I could achieve ! so I just enjoy what once I was capable of doing !
Love your painting with Snowdonia in the distance of the winter scene. I am sorry to hear your Arthritis has stopped your enjoyment of painting Beryl. Big Fav
It’s beautiful Beryl, you are talented. I also have to be thankful on what I can achieve with my hands, but I find the more you use them the less stiff they are. Fav
You have a real talent for painting Beryl & it must grieve you that you can’t continue. This one is beautifully done & you will think of your beloved Wales every time you look at it.
Wow! Besides your photographic talent you were a wonderful painter. Beautiful winter scene. Love how you captured the reflection of the sky in the water.
Had to fav this - you have been so good with your painting. My desire to paint has been subdued by shaky hands. Who knows what might happen - van Goffffff?
