Just enjoyed a pork casserole - practicing different recipes in the slow cooker - and coming to like it and the benefits of not having to be busy in the kitchen immediately before mealtime.

I think you have interested me into using my slow cooker again Beryl we used to love a Chili Con Carne done in it and I also have some slow cooker liners that I use which can go straight into the freezer with the contents or portion.
Funnily enough I have used our slow cooker today too. We had mince & it worked brilliantly. We have been out this afternoon so no worries about leaving the pan on the hob plus lees electric of course. Getting used to it & might be a bit more adventurous soon.
