I feel loathed to pull up the summer bedding plants to put in my winter bulbs as they are still looking so colourful and beautiful . No doubt the frost will blacken them off one of these days and then I will be hoping for a dry and fine day to plant the bulbs ! As for the football -- Alfie loves it in its dilapidated state as he can sink his teeth in the existing holes to carry it around the garden !
