Second Photo Taken With New Lens...

The new Sigma 150-600 mm lens that was gifted to me for my birthday arrived today, right in the middle of our first real snow. Had to try it out of course, if only from the protection of our back deck. I think I am really going to enjoy this new lens!

@bjywamer I don’t use mine that often… it is so cumbersome. I have a 70-300 that I use more often.

@kvphoto I typically use my 70-300 mm as well and probably still will in most cases. Yes, the new lens is quite heavy and yesterday's photo were all taken handheld. I can see my hands and arms would get tired pretty quickly. However, I am hoping to be able to set up with my new tripod in places where I know I might get some good photo ops (like in the bison range nearby)Time will tell... Merry Christmas season to you! :-)
