Sam Steele Exhibit

Today was my last day off before heading back to work. It has been a long three weeks being off and very limited on how much I was able to get around.
So on the way home from the doctor we decided to make a stop off at the University of Alberta's downtown branch and take in the Sam Steele Exhibit.
Sam Steele was a long time member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and is considered by many to be a Hero and True Canadian Icon.
The exhibit contains many personal documents of his along with photographs and personal items. In 2008 the University purchased all of these items from the Steele family in Britain and on June 1 this exhibit opened. It runs until Sept. 30. It was absolutely fasinating and worth the time to take it in.
I took this picture in the gift shop as we liked the background for the photo.
