I know this is another collage but I thought this was the best way to show what we did this past weekend. Mel's Mom and Dad decided it would be fun to join us on one of our outings that we go on each weekend. So we met them downtown and started of at the City Market. Dad is having his picture taken with the lady who is one of a couple "living statues" that entertain people there. He was caught off guard when she moved to get under his umbrella. From there we made our way to a nice little cafe we discovered that makes wonderful crepes. Then it was off to the Taste of Edmonton to find some nice desserts.
On Sunday we made our way to Old Glenora to sit by the Alexandra Fountain where we came across some children selling lemonade. I went over and bought a cup from them. And I found some nice flowers on our way home
Thanks for sharing your weekend with us! Sounds like there was a lot on including the Taste of Edmonton! Good for those children selling lemonade - I bet it was delicious!
What a nice sounding weekend. I love those 'live statues', they are so much fun to watch and to watch peoples reactions (like your dad). Wonderful collage.
Wow Brian. You and Mel really do a lot of great walking tours of Edmonton. It appears to be a walking-friendly city. And I love the shot of the "umbrella surprise".
@allie912 Well what can I say Edmonton is a wonderful city with so much to do all year round. I would highly recomend you put us on your bucket list of places to visit
What better way than showing us your day's outing than in a collage. great to have Melody's parent come out and join you both..picture of the statue and your father-in-law is wonderful and I like that you got some children in there as well.
