Well over the course of my project I have taken a few shots of Edmonton City Hall. However, I had to go down there today as it was 20 years ago today that the current City Hall opened its doors to the public for the first time.
They had cake and some festivities going on as well as tours of City Hall. One particular tour was of interest to me and that was the one that was led by Gene Dub a local architect and former city councillor who's firm designed the building. It was interesting listening to his perspective on this building. In the top left is the City's Public Affairs Representitive introducing Mr Dub. The photo on the right is Mr Dub talking about the building. Behind him are three gentlemen who currently sit on City Council and then a glimpse of City Hall showing off the two most prominent features, the Pyramid and the Clock Tower
