A little while ago I took a shot of the art gallery downtown with just a glimpse of it over the trees. At the time I thought it might be fun to do a series of shots like that. So I then did the church steeple and now this is the thrid one. This is the top of the Dominion Hotel on Whyte Avenue. Built in the early 1900's it is a distinguishing landmark in Old Strathcona. Although it is no longer used as a hotel it is still being used. It is home to a restaurant and also the Old Strathcona Historical Society. Tomorrow a shot of the whole building
wow! you still have those old beautiful buildings. in here they tear them down and build new ones that look like the old ones. crazy eh? love the tower of this building.
