An Early Spring

We have been having some very nice weather here lately. So much so that a lot of the snow has been melting. I took this out front of my Mom's place yesterday.
Unfortunately since taking this shot the real winter weather has come back. So instead of a couple of huge puddles there are a couple of rather large sheets of ice

I would say I guess it was nice while it lasted, but it doesn't seem to have lasted nearly long enough. Those are some big puddles.

It does look very mushy still - not the most picturesque time for snow scenes but good to know the temperature has risen!

The weather might be fooling us of thinking early Spring, better not believe it. we only have the end of January, there is still all of February and hopefully only part of March. it snowed most of the day again today.
