One large stone

Todays word is stone and I immediately thought of this huge stone located in the schoolyard of the Garneau School. The stone was placed here with the plaque on it in honor of a lady who gave 25 years of service teaching at the school. The Garneau sign on the building in the background is on the side of the Garneau Theatre.
Notice the snow is gone!!!! There are some spots still around with a bit of snow but with the warm weather we have been having it should all be gone very soon

I guess this is one tribute that won't be moved anytinme soon....I'll bet that was the plan....A tree could be cut down...a statue moved...but a 5 ton rock....nah....cool story...
