So today is National Musical Instrument Day. This fellow is a regular on Whyte Avenue and we passed by him while we were strolling down the Avenue on Monday. He is a very good player and I took the time to listen to a little bit of what he was playing. I did make a donation to him for the joy of being entertained and I did take the time to get a photo before moving on. Just a side note. I tried learning how to play saxophone when I was in grade seven. However the fact that I was ore interested in spending time outdoors playing with my friends rather than playing the sax was most likely the reason I failed Grade 7 Band
What a great street shot with a fun side story! I tried to learn violin in the 7th grade, but I kept poking the kid next to me in the eye with my bow . . . that was it for me and the violin!
this is a great shot, brian. and the black and white made it more interesting. you know if partner was with you, he'd have moved that darn garbage bin. hahaha!
