Continuing with my collage week of sharing a few more photos of our trip to British Columbia. Fort Steele is a living museum portraying life in the late 1890's in the Kootenay Mountains
Beautiful collage and photos. Living History museums are some of our favorites...... Fort Steele, we have not been to. My cousin was involved in the Fort St. James Living History performances -- and may still be part of the time -- up in B.C. for a long time. We enjoy trying to talk to the players in their "early history" language.... (Would like to have been in Edmonton last weekend. My cousin was married there on Saturday!)
Lovely, lovely shots. Looks like a nice day in BC. I was just up to Vancouver over the weekend of September 5th. Just for a couple of days. The are awesome, lovely images. FAV
I've studied each photo in detail. It looks like everyone is having a varied experience, especially the children. Though I live in New Mexico, my mother-in-law grew up in Vancouver and loved to hike, writing for a hiking organization's magazine. She was named after Lake Louise.
@maggiemae Maggie this is part of the museum. It is a replica of Government House where the government offices were housed . It was also home to the Land Titles Office for people who were looking to homestead land in the area
