The Harvest Room

Thank you all for so many great comments on yesterday's photo of the Hotel MacDonald. A few of you were interested in seeing some of the interior so I will post a few shots of the inside I took while there. For those who want to see even more check out my posts from Febuary 16-19, 2014 when we took a tour of the hotel.
This shot is in the restaurant. It is called the Harvest Room and it is a great place to eat with wonderful service and amazing food. I had stuffed French Toast while Melody had Chai Tea infused Buttermilk Pancakes

I love french toast but I have never heard of stuffed french toast! I will have to ask my French-Canadian son-in-law chef if he has ever cooked it.

Impressive room.
I think the exposure was a good choice. It calls attention to the room--windows, chandeliers, ceiling--while deemphasizing the people & furniture.
