Old Friends

So here was the reason for our weekend getaway. We were bringing Melody's parents to Calgary so they could visit some old friends.
This picture was taken while we were out for dinner. Melody's Mom is in the centre. On the right is a lady who they last saw about eight years ago.
The lady on the left is a friend that Melody's Mom was in the Salvation Army Training College with in the 1950's. They had not seen each other since graduation in 1954, 61 years ago. Needless to say it was a wonderful reunion. We had attended the morning service at the Salvation Army Temple which allowed both of her parents to see a few other friends they had not seen in some time as well. Tomorrow we head back to Edmonton
