Nature Day by bkbinthecity

Nature Day

So today is National Nature Photography a Day and since Edmonton has so many parks I thought I would share one of the with you.
This particular one is Monsignor William Irwin Park located just west of downtown. It is named after Bill Irwin a Roman Catholic Priest who lived fro 1928-2004. He was the founder of the Canadian Catholic Social Services and a receipient of the Order of Canada. There is also a French immersion Catholic School in Edmonton named after him which opened in 2010
Very nice
