The Graenon by bkbinthecity

The Graenon

This old house was the first house built on St. Georges Crescent in Edmonton's west end.Built in 1913-14 for the O'Connor family. It remained in the family until just a few years ago.
If you look closely at the picture on the right you can see a cat on the roof.
This porcelain cat was brought back from a trip the family made to Normandy in 1928 and has been a permanent fixture there ever since
Lovely history and love the story of the cat too!

I was thinking how that cat seemed quite adventurous!

Yes, I can see the cat. Seems to be very cold there; we have a very dull and dreary day today and it is one of those rare days that I have stayed inside.
