Another day another painting

This painting hangs in Melody's parents living room. Her Dad is from Amsterdam and came to Canada in 1956. In 1987 he took Melody's Mom to Holland.
While there they visited Giethoorn. They took this picture there. When they arrived back home her Mom had a friend paint this scene taken from the photo.

Beautiful painting. Visited Giethoorn several times; it's not far away from we I live. Giethoorn is very crowded there these days with buses full of tourists (lots of them are from Japan).
