Today we were in a local bookstore and l noticed at the counter they had a couple of books wrapped up in plain paper. A little sign called it A Blind Date With A Book.
The only indication of the book was whether it was fiction or nonfiction and then a couple of quotes about the book.
This was hard to pass up. So l bought the nonfiction book.
Here I am at Starbucks just before opening the book.
Now the answer. The book is called Unchristian by David Kinnaman and Gabe Lyons.
It is about what a new generation thinks about Christianity and why it really matters.
I am looking forward to reading this one.
It does sound intriguing as Ann said. This is a great shot, love how you caught some folks in the background. A lot of the younger generation are turning their backs on religion/Christianity now, even the ones who were brought up by believers.
