Walking past the Hall seen in yesterday's post took me past this sculpture. I decided to share this and its message with everyone
Nice sculpture, messages and photo. I'm glad you didn't wipe the snow of the top of the bear, I think it makes for a better photo with the snow.

I love the snow on the bear's back. Great capture of a wonderful piece of art.
The statue is called The Sweetgrass Bear and the artist is Stewart Steinhauer. It was commissioned as part of the University's work on reconciliation with Indigenous peoples. (Apologies for inserting myself @bkbinthecity. I just always want to see artists credited for their work.)
