The Gariepy House by bkbinthecity

The Gariepy House

This located downtown is one of only a handful of structures still standing that was built prior to Edmonton being incorporated as a city.
This house was built for Joseph Gariepy in 1902. Edmonton became a city in 1904. Gariepy was a business man who arrived in Edmonton from Montreal in 1893.
He established a grocery business before being elected as a city alderman
A beauty!
