O Canada 14

Two weeks into my series on Things Canada is Known For. Today is Maple Syrup. Canada is the top producer of maple Syrup in the world Thanks to the province of Quebec.
I snapped this picture in the grocery store today.
Many of you mentioned maple syrup as something you think of when thinking of Canada.

And Pennsylvania is the furthest "south" maple syrup can be produced in the US. We have a maple syrup farm about 40 minutes from us. Good shot!

Ah yes, this brings back fornd memories. We love maple syrup and still make Canadian pancakes. We buy our maple syrup from a nearby Lidl store, a cut price German supermarket.

All our maple syrup is imported, therefore extremely expensive so have not had the pleasure of tasting it. I will do so soon, in honour of you both - Brian and Melody

Real Maple Syrup is the best. The restaurants down here don't usually have it. I have mine shipped here.
