Athletic Grounds

Out for a drive this evening l decided to stop and get a picture of the Joe Clarke Athletic Grounds. Named after a former Mayor of Edmonton who had a love for sports. These are home to amateur football and soccer teams as well as high school football. Behind this field you can see a part of Commonwealth Stadium home to our professional football team

Beautiful shot. In Canada you can have so much space allotted to sports and you are lucky for that. Malta is so small that we barely have space for pavements for pedestrians.
