After I dropped my Grandson off at school this morning I just had to pull over to take some pictures of these curious cows. It was really beautiful this morning....everything was kind of frosted over and there was a slight fog or haze hanging over the ground. It's really fun doing this picture project but people (and cows) are starting to look at me like I'm crazy....I slam on the brakes and run out and start taking pictures. One guy actually stopped me once and asked me what I was taking a picture of because he didn't see anything much to take a picture of! I'm getting to where I don't care though....must get picture! :)
Hahahaha!!!! I like when people take a notice that I am taking a picture of something. They start to look around to see what I see. Sometimes I think they see it too. Yes, must get picture! You did good. ;-)
@barrymikhal@jjsooner@jonna@stepheesue@marja Thank you....it was only 18 degrees when I was out there taking pictures of these cows. I should have joined this project months ago.....brilliant idea to start in November...I can hardly wait to take pictures in January! :)
@dmortega@eileenmabalot@barbsmith Thank you and I'm so glad I'm not the only one who gets "looks"! :) My husband isn't even going to let me ride with him any more because we'll be driving along and out of the blue I see something and yell "STOP...back up!" and he actually does it most of the time (so far)! :)
Oh, this is wonderful, Paula! You were so right to take advantage of that photo op! It's funny,,,my husband actually acts as a scout/spotter now. We'll be driving along and he'll say something like, "Hey, look at that! You want me to pull over?". :)
There ought to be some official highways person, who's job is to ride a section of road and assess if there is a view worth photographing. If there is, he (or she) should DARNED WELL MAKE SURE THERE IS SOMEWHERE TO STOP NEARBY!
This is a great shot, Paula. Glad you took the opportunity. My family act as spotters, too, like Peggy says. And I agree with Graham. Perhaps you could put your hand up for the job, Graham??
You're doing the world service paula .... these cows would never be seen or noticed by us all if it weren't for your craziness hehe, thank you, they are so cute :-) and i love that they're watching you watching them ;-)
@taidster Ha! That's funny because they were out in the middle of the field so I REALLY needed them to come a little closer. I was mooing like a fool and I told the one looking at me if he would just come closer...."I'll make you a star!" He just stood there and continued to stare at me so I left! :)
@peggysirk@ellida@girlie Hey, I think you guys are on to something here! Official photo op assessors....someone call Obama about this. This is all about job creation....think of all the spotters needed and then all the construction workers needed to build the lookout areas...think of the employment opportunities here ! Brilliant! :)
Those are great cows Paula. I would have pulled over too, and the finishing is really cool. It gives it that early morning haze feeling, which apparently it was!! I agree with you on the wonderful job creation idea too. Brilliant!

End of rant. I like your photo. :-D
