The bridge over the River Lea by the rowing club on the marshes on a gorgeous sunny day for a cycle. Had to push myself into getting out as I've spent most of the day getting into a dread panic what with Putin's increasingly deranged pronouncements. A man who seems more and more desperate. Not a good thing.
Earlier got stuff together for a few days away, ordered a Sainsbury's delivery, and spoke to M who'll be staying in the house for a few days.

Try not to listen to the news more than once a day,,,.morning perhaps & then it’s not on your mind last thing at night. We have 24 hour news these days, not always good for the mind! Holiday will do you good…no TV or radio around as much. Nice stripes & squares.

It is very hard to not worry about the current situation. My father in law is Ukrainian and still has relatives in the Ukraine, so we are very concerned. I need to take a long walk to help me relax.
