Gradually nearing the end of this fantasy series set in an alternative Napoleonic era with dragons - here the intrepid dragons and their companions travel through South America.
Felt really rough later on yesterday with the cold worsening and didn't sleep well through the night. Dave went off to work leaving me sniffling and sneezing and feeling rather low.
Can't say I wasn't also very upset to hear that Brian's (bkbinthecity) wife Melody had passed away after her heart attack, so very sad - a lovely couple who I obviously never met but such a part of 365.
But I got myself going somewhat and went downstairs to make healthy soup and put a bread on - need to get those veggies down me. Had a relaxing bath and later had a go at labelling more of my Egypt photos and backing them up.
I've ordered the first three in this series through my local bookshop - am so looking forward to their arrival. I'm terribly sorry to hear about Brian’s wife! What a shock for Brian and the family.
Sorry you still feel bad….hope you turn the corner soon. Not my type of book but it’s so good to find a genre you enjoy. I love reading so much. I’m reading John Boyne at the moment …nearly been through them all.
I've sent a photo of this book to a friend that likes these books, to see if she has read them!
